Mandatory Skills  : SAP CO, PRODUCT COSTING

Key Responsibilities:

SAP CO (Controlling) Configuration:

Lead and support the implementation and enhancement of the SAP CO module, with a focus on Product Costing (CO-PC) and other related areas such as Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Product Cost Planning, and Cost Object Controlling.

Design, configure, and test the Product Costing process, including costing runs, cost estimates, standard costs, and variance analysis.

Provide expertise in configuring Activity-Based Costing (ABC) and Overhead Costing.

Ensure alignment between SAP CO and other SAP modules (MM, PP, SD, FI) for seamless end-to-end business process integration.

Cost Structure & Reporting:

Develop and support cost allocation strategies, product cost structures, and ensure accurate costing in materials, production, and inventory.

Define and optimize the costing variants, valuation strategies, and costing methods.

Design and implement reporting solutions within SAP using SAP Query, Report Painter, and ABAP (if applicable) to provide management with actionable cost insights.

Implement Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) to enable business units to analyze profitability by market segment, product, customer, or sales channel.

Support & Maintenance:

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP CO/Product Costing users and resolve issues efficiently.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate cost allocations, variance analysis, and reporting.

Support the integration of product costing data into financial accounting for financial statements.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and deliver SAP solutions that meet operational needs.

Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure smooth integration and alignment of business processes.

Lead training sessions for end-users on SAP CO/Product Costing features, processes, and reporting tools.

Project Management:

Manage or support SAP implementation projects, rollouts, and upgrades related to SAP CO/Product Costing.

Participate in project planning, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.

Ensure timely delivery of tasks and adherence to project deadlines.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization within the existing SAP CO/Product Costing setup.

Stay updated with the latest SAP releases and best practices in cost controlling and product costing.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP Controlling, with significant hands-on experience in Product Costing (CO-PC).

SAP Expertise: Extensive knowledge of SAP CO modules including Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Cost Object Controlling.

SAP Integration: Strong experience in integrating SAP CO with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, SD, and FI.

Configuration: Proven track record of successfully configuring SAP CO and Product Costing scenarios, including costing runs, cost estimation, and variance analysis.

Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of cost accounting, cost structures, standard costing, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

Reporting: Hands-on experience with SAP reporting tools such as Report Painter, SAP Query, and advanced Excel for financial analysis.

Project Management: Experience in managing or participating in SAP implementation and upgrade projects.

Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
