Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator with 4 to 10 years of relevant experience, focusing primarily on MS SQL/Azure SQL Server. The ideal candidate will also have secondary experience in MongoDB, Azure PostgreSQL, and Azure MySQL database administration. Extensive knowledge in database operations, design, and implementation is essential. Additional expertise in Azure SQL, PowerShell scripting, and T-SQL Scripting will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

●       Administer, manage, and maintain databases primarily on MS SQL/Azure SQL Server.

●       Perform secondary administration tasks on MongoDB, Azure PostgreSQL, and Azure MySQL.

●       Design, implement, and maintain database systems to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.

●       Develop and execute comprehensive database backup and recovery plans.

●       Monitor database performance and optimize queries for efficient data retrieval.

●       Ensure database systems meet business and performance requirements.

●       Collaborate with development teams to design and implement robust database solutions.

●       Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

●       Document database procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Mandatory Skills:

·        Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in database administration.

·        In-depth understanding of Azure SQL PaaS database and Managed instance capabilities and features.

·        Proficiency in writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for database automation.
