Job Description:

Overview: 

This role requires specialized expertise in data engineering to ensure the successful deployment and operation of the MGDC service. The user will work closely with the M365 Engineering, Cloud Ops and Data Warehousing teams to build and manage the necessary infrastructure components, adhering to best practices and industry standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Infrastructure Development: Design and implement storage accounts, Azure Synapse workspaces, Azure pipelines, and underlying data tables. 

Data Visualization: Build Power BI visualizations using the ingested data to support business insights and decision-making.  

Best Practices: Ensure that the MGDC infrastructure is built following best practices and industry standards. 

Knowledge Transfer: Provide guidance and training to existing team members to build internal capabilities. 

Mandatory Skills:

·        Strong background in data engineering and data warehousing.

·        Experience with Azure services, including Synapse, pipelines, and storage accounts. 

·        Experience building Power BI visualizations.

• Proven track record of designing and implementing data infrastructure.
