JOB DESCRIPTION:

Description

Operating in a BMC Remedy AR System custom ticketing and workflow environment, you will work with stakeholders and the Remedy team to transition from a legacy server-based architecture to an advanced container-based architecture.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Design and develop custom Remedy applications in a container based environment

• Install and upgrade of Remedy software in a container based environment

• Design and build APIs to connect, integrate and extend Remedy application

• Assist in mentoring developers on your team

• Collaborate closely with team members in an agile environment

• Help identify and solve application issues experienced by customers

What you’ll need to be successful:

• minimum 5+ years custom Remedy development experience

• Experience designing and documenting APIs (Node.js, Express, OpenAPI Spec)

• Experience with container-based deployments (Kubernetes and Docker ecosystem)

• Experience with front-end, backend and API development (JavaScript, React, CSS; Node.js, PostgreSQL)

• Proven experience with RESTful API Modeling Language (RAML), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), JSON-Schema, JavaScript, and Postman technologies

• Ability to work independently on assigned deliverables with minimal supervision

• Strong background in developing, administering and supporting integration solutions in a large enterprise environment

• You have 5+ years of custom Remedy development experience

• You have a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering and/or related job experience

• You are an expert in written and verbal communicator with an obsessive eye for quality

• You are known to manage high volume workloads while maintaining great levels of quality and attention to detail

• You are highly skilled in planning and time management, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a rapidly changing environment

• You are able to learn quickly from success or failure, apply sound judgement, and get things done all while navigating through change, ambiguity, and high pressure environments

Great-to-haves

• ITIL certification and/or training

• Agile/Scrum Master certification and/or training

• Familiarity with customizing & configuration of Jira
