Backend Network Specialist

Job summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Backend Network Specialist to set up and manage our Azure infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, data encryption protocols, and experience with web-deployed networked applications. A plus if you have experience with networking for game applications developed in Unity for WebGL and other platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure to support web-deployed networked applications.

• Ensure the infrastructure meets the required security standards and protocols.

• Implement data encryption protocols to secure communication between the frontend and backend servers.

• Monitor and maintain network performance, security, and availability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of the backend infrastructure with the frontend application.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in network security and infrastructure management.

• Provide documentation and training to team members on network setup and security protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in setting up and managing Azure infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of network security principles and data encryption protocols.

• Experience with web-deployed networked applications.

• Familiarity with Unity for WebGL and other platforms is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with networking for game applications developed in Unity.

• Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.

• Certifications in Azure or network security are highly desirable.
