Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Counsellor to join our team at Brainstorm Consulting Pvt Ltd. As a Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students who are aspiring to study abroad in universities across the globe. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, with a junior level requirement of 1 to 3 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in counseling or related roles
• Familiarity with the study abroad process and university admission requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and their families
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to evaluate and recommend suitable study options
• Proficient in using AI-based tools and technology to provide personalized guidance
• Knowledge of visa application procedures and documentation requirements
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• A passion for international education and a commitment to supporting students in achieving their study abroad goals

Roles and Responsibilities

• Guide students in the study abroad process, including university selection, application, and admission requirements
• Provide comprehensive counseling and support to students and their families, addressing their concerns and answering their queries
• Assist students in understanding the various study options available, including program combinations and university choices
• Utilize AI-based tools to analyze and recommend suitable universities based on critical parameters
• Ensure accuracy and completion of student applications, including filling out necessary forms and documentation
• Keep up-to-date with university admission procedures, deadlines, and requirements
• Provide guidance on visa application procedures and assist students with the necessary documentation
• Collaborate with university representatives and attend seminars and fairs to stay informed about new programs and policies
• Maintain and update student records, including communication logs and progress reports
• Contribute to the growth of the counseling department by actively participating in team meetings and training sessions
