• Responsible in taking up DSP design activities, participate and contribute to research and development of digital signal processing algorithms, perform analysis, involve in design and development of Hardware-including component selection, schematic design and system integration.

Preferred educational qualification: B.Tech /B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication, Electrical with minimum 4 years’ experience in DSP PG : M.Tech in Electronics/Telecommunication, Electrical with minimum 3 years’ experience in DSP.

Core Responsibilities & Duties

• Experience in DSP Architecture and DSP assembly language programming. • Technical expertise with DSP algorithms and implementation or proof-of-concept design. • Experience in system and/or SOC design that include implementation of algorithms, simulation, architecture, feature evaluation, signal processing and optimization, HW/SW integration and troubleshooting. • Excellent Programming, design coding skills in C and C++.

• Integrate DSP algorithms using C/C++ within complex, multi-threaded, multi-processor DSP architectures and audio frameworks.

• Evaluate DSP algorithm performance to identify bottlenecks and resource constraints.

• Perform structured root-cause analysis on defects and implement targeted fixes.

• Identify improvement opportunities and lead efforts to port, optimize, modify, fix, and extend existing code as necessary.

• Exhibit significant in-depth knowledge on Components, Key Characteristics of parts, processes, techniques, methodologies, tools and equipment used with an enhanced focus on cost, safety, quality. Implements industry standards, best practices within the domain.

• Stay abreast of new technology and initiate introduction of new materials, tools, Test equipment and process automation, towards improving quality and productivity enhancement.

• Demonstrate ability and flexibility to manage multiple and significantly complex projects, RFPs independently with high level of autonomy and accountability for results.

• Risk and opportunity Management: Support actions to minimize risks. Ensure the company and customers' intellectual properties are protected

Desired:

• Experience in embedded real-time operating systems (RTOS)

• Ability to read schematics and debug analog and digital hardware.

• Working knowledge of Serial communication protocols.

• Design and Development of Firmware and software architecture at system level for LRUs, Controller Boards, Test Jigs/Rigs, ATE for Airborne, Defense and Ground Applications, Knowledge of DO-178 Preferred

• System level design and development from conceptual to implementation including interface design, connection diagrams, integration and Testing.

• Interact with Customers for requirements collection, Technical coordination, RFP response.

• Unit level Qualification and Certification, exposure to ESS, SOFT and Qualification Tests at Card level and Unit level.

• Familiarity with test equipment (signal generators, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, Audio Precision, etc.)
