Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workday Business Analyst with a strong background in Workday (HCM & Financials) and ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, capable of understanding complex business processes and translating them into system requirements. This is a remote role with occasional onsite travel to New York.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

Deeply understand Workday functionality, including HCM and Finance modules, data mapping, and integrations.

Analyze end-to-end business processes, identifying improvement opportunities and addressing operational, financial, and technical risks.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements, user stories, use cases, UAT plans, and process flows.

Lead and participate in meetings with senior stakeholders, developers, testers, and cross-functional teams.

Design and implement improvements to systems, data flows, and business processes.

Work concurrently on multiple tasks/projects while maintaining quality and timeliness.

Perform UAT planning and support testing efforts across various implementations.

Collaborate on ServiceNow CMDB modules and provide functional guidance.

Support system upgrades, conversions, and new feature deployments.

Mandatory Skills:

8+ years of Business Analyst experience in the healthcare domain.

3–5 years of hands-on experience with Workday (HCM and Financials), including understanding of data structures and integrations.

1–2 years’ experience with ServiceNow, especially CMDB and other key modules (HR, PPM).

Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis and validation.

Strong documentation skills using Visio or similar tools for process modeling.

Strong experience in Business Requirement elicitation and User Story documentation.

Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-facing approach.

Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and collaborate across diverse teams.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

Project management experience or ability to handle multiple priorities independently.

Familiarity with indices, financial data analysis, and performance returns.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc).

Relevant certifications in Workday or Business Analysis are a plus.
