Job Overview

We are seeking a Power BI Developer Senior On-Premise for a full-time position in Mumbai. This mid-level role requires a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building comprehensive BI solutions on the Power BI platform, encompassing data modeling, report creation, and analytical capabilities to support business objectives and decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in Power BI, proficient at creating complex dashboards and reports that meet business needs.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX functions for creating complex calculations and customizing visualizations.
• Hands-on experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleaning tasks.
• Experienced in MDX queries for data extraction from multidimensional databases.
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL for data querying and manipulation within SQL Server environments.
• Experience with SSRS for traditional report generation and understanding of its integration with Power BI.
• Ability to perform comprehensive data visualization and data modeling to facilitate better business insights.
• Effective communication skills, capable of engaging non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and provide training.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, ensuring they are aligned with business requirements and objectives.
• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements for BI solutions.
• Convert raw data sets into meaningful insights using advanced DAX calculations and data modeling best practices.
• Perform data extraction and transformation leveraging Power Query and integrate additional frameworks like MDX.
• Design and implement data visualization strategies to optimize the clarity and impact of information presentation.
• Ensure data security and governance policies are adhered to during the development process.
• Train and support end-users in making the best use of the Power BI platform and its features.
• Continuously explore new BI technologies and tools to enhance reporting capabilities at the company.
