Job Title: Site Engineer – Fire Fighting Systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management:
• Assist in the planning and execution of fire fighting system installation projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop timelines and budgets.
• Technical Oversight:
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications related to fire fighting systems.
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Installation Supervision:
• Oversee the installation of fire fighting systems, including sprinklers, fire alarms, and other suppression systems.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship.
• Site Inspections:
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to safety standards.
• Identify and address any issues or discrepancies during installation.
• Quality Control:
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the systems are installed to the highest standards.
• Perform tests and inspections on installed systems to verify functionality.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and installation procedures.
• Prepare reports for project managers and clients as needed.
• Client Liaison:
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project status.
• Address any client concerns or questions regarding the fire fighting systems.
• Training and Support:
• Provide training to clients or facility staff on the operation and maintenance of fire fighting systems.
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance post-installation.
