What is it

An AI screening layer that converts natural language requirements into structured criteria. It evaluates each candidate against the defined criteria, and explains why a certain item is met or unmet. You get a curated list of the most relevant candidates saving you time and effort.

Why we built it

  • Recruiters end up spending time skimming resumes with little context.
  • Early screening is inconsistent across roles and teams.
  • Hiring managers share nuanced expectations in words. Those details get lost in a standard form.

How it works

  1. Capture requirements Paste a JD or type what the hiring manager said in plain English. The system recommends several criteria based on the information provided and criteria used in the past. You can edit or add your own.

  2. Evaluation and explanations We evaluate each candidate profile against the criteria. Each criterion gets a met/unmet value plus a one line reason.

  3. Ranked list and filters See candidates sorted by overall fit with per criterion bars. Filter by must have met, hide low signal, or set a threshold. Open or hover on the resume screening column in the candidate card to see the why in plain language.

  4. Tuning with feedback You have a way to provide feedback whether the ai evaluated the candidate properly or not to help us tune the system accordingly.

Conclusion

This update will make it easier and save you time in identifying relevant resumes in a consistent, fast, and effective way. The reasoning bit helps develop trust in the effectiveness of the AI screening.
