Position: BUSINESS HEAD / Operations Head

Location: Hyderabad

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Job Summary: Business Head will be responsible for managing group of 3 inter-related companies. M/s Venkateshwara Associates is the first company of BJR Group founded in 1991. We are the authorized Super stockiest for Hero Moto corp ltd and deal with supply of two wheeler spare parts in various parts of Telangana. M/s Bolt Automotives & M/s Flash Autozone are two sub- distributors having the same line of business as above but only supply to after-market in Hyderabad East & West.

We are looking for a seasoned business head with hands on experience in running the entire show and working closely with the CEO in Corporate Office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Oversight:

• Provide leadership and direction to all operational functions, including but not limited to sales, warehouse, logistics and accounts.
• Implement and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational performance.

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Collaborate with the CEO and other senior executives to develop and implement the company's strategic plan.
• Ensure alignment between operational activities and the company's strategic objectives.
• Identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.

1. Resource Management:

• Manage and allocate resources effectively, including budgeting and financial planning.
• Optimize the allocation of human capital and technology to support operational goals.
• Make decisions regarding capital investments and resource allocation.

1. Team Leadership:

• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Set performance goals for operational teams and measure results.

1. Quality and Compliance:

• Ensure that the organization meets quality and compliance standards.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and risk management efforts.
• Implement and maintain best practices for quality control.

1. Stakeholder Relations:

• Collaborate with other senior leaders to manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Address any operational issues or concerns raised by stakeholders.
• Enhance the company's reputation for operational excellence.

1. Change Management:

• Lead and facilitate change initiatives to drive operational improvements.
• Implement new technologies and processes to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
• Manage resistance to change and ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field; an MBA may be preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing complex operations.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in operations.
