Position: Manager- Export and Import (SCM)

Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ Any degree

Experience: 15+ Years of experience into export and import in manufacturing industry.

Work location: Peenya Industrial Area, Bangalore

To plan and ensure effective management of Import/ Export & Logistic with a focus on optimizing

cost and delivery performance for smooth functioning of EXIM.

• Conducting meeting with forwarders /CHA evaluating the performance and developing new logistics service providers etc.

• EGM filling verification & error resolving through CHA, shipping lines, customs & getting the IGST refund timely etc.

• Handling the customs query /notice related to proof of realization of export proceeds (e BRC) etc

• Monthly Reporting to management – Sales, Revenue, Logistics cost & trend of logistics etc.

• Collecting Commercial Documents & Verification -Invoice, Packing List, Product catalogue, BL, COO, FTA certificate of Origin form, Testing certificate, MSDS, BIS etc.

• Duty Benefit Purpose License Scheme like Capital goods Import EPCG & FTA / Form-AI / PTA etc.

• Shipment tracking & before arrival advance pre-alert documents sharing to CHA.

• Good knowledge about Custom clearance, checklist verification, duty checking, good knowledge about HSN code etc.

• Reporting – Monthly Import shipments & Logistics cost etc.

• Good Knowledge about Inco terms ICC-2020 rules & definitions.
