Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI/Power Platform Developer with extensive experience in DAX queries to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI and other Power Platform tools.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement robust solutions.
• Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries to manipulate and analyze data within Power BI models.
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data retrieval and visualization.
• Develop and maintain data integration processes using Power Query/M and other ETL tools to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Implement security measures to ensure data privacy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power BI solutions, resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Power BI/Power Platform development, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance analytics capabilities.
• Requirements:
• bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Power BI/Power Platform development, with a focus on DAX queries.
• Proven expertise in designing and developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, or similar.
• experience with data integration and ETL processes using Power Query/M or similar tools.

• experience with other Power Platform tools such as Power Automate (Flow) and Power Apps.
• knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based data analytics solutions.
• familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
