- Ensuring monthly close activities get executed in a well-disciplined, consistent, timely and accurate manner
- Serving as the interface between the regional/local finance teams and shared services (internal and external)
- Driving and documenting consistent procedures across our general accounting activities and our use of the general ledger in accordance with our established corporate policies and standards
- Managing centralized accounting activities; assistance with ad-hoc activities determined on a need basis
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Manage timely completion of account reconciliation processes and follow-up/resolving open items for specified tasks.
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual processes under tight timeframes
- Ensure that accounting records are thoroughly maintained in preparation for audits.
- Maintain adequate and current documentation of the systems in support of internal control.
- Maintain a solid working knowledge of technical accounting skills.
- Participate in Finance related projects as needed.
- May assume overall responsibility for small size legal entity or regional tasks.
- Support external and internal audit requests
- SOX and Internal Control reporting
- Financial analysis, general analytics and accounting

Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of proven accounting and finance experience
- Bachelor s degree with concentration in accounting or finance; CA/CPA/MBA is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong accounting and financial acumen with excellent communication skills
- Experience supporting audits
- Experience utilizing accounting and finance software (NetSuite and Blackline, preferred)
- Proficiency with Excel and other MS Office applications
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently from leader
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
- Professional demeanor with ability to interact with all levels of management
