Senior Analyst - Network Support

Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.

Maintaining LAN, WLAN and architecture of the server as per the business policy.

As a precautionary measure, analyse and implement new security protocols for greater efficiency against any threat or malfunctions.

Design complete network security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs.

Participate in execution of product-oriented programs and methods for enhancement of computing systems.

Prepare, document, and Implement standard operating procedures and protocols, security authentication protocol for Network security.

Resolving the existing security issue including hardware malfunctions.

Change management, incorporating the administration of upgrades, patches and Þxes

Generating and maintaining the virtual private network (VPN), firewalls, web protocols and email security decorum.

Maintaining the regulatory systems about ISMS policy.

Recommend modifications in legal, technical and regulatory areas that affect IT security.

Monitoring of web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, endpoint security.

Evaluates network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations.

Ensure to practice IT asset management inclusive of component inventory maintenance and associated documentation.

Investigate Security breach and write comprehensive reports including assessment based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement.

Development and implementation of new corporate security policies and staff training on awareness of cyber security threats.

Creating network policies and authorization roles and defending against unauthorized access, modiÞcations, and destruction.

Research and make recommendations on server system administration.

Evaluate and ensure security efficiency and assist in installation of antivirus to fortify security system.

Coordinate with various departments, evaluate and ensure accuracy to all server operating systems.

Essential Skills:

4+ years’ experience as Network and Security Engineer.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, telecommunications or any related Þeld.

Strong Knowledge in TCP/IP protocol, deep packet processing knowledge using tools like Wireshark, tcp, dump.

Strong Knowledge in design, installing, and conÞguration of cisco networking devices ( LAN, WAN & WLAN)

Knowledge of performing routing protocols (MPLS, HAIPE/IP, QOS and WAN).  Extensive knowledge in networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) security protocols (HTTPS, SSL and SFTP) and routing protocols (BGP, EGP, OSPF, EIGRP. etc.)

Extensive Knowledge in switching technologies, 3 layer networking architecture.

Experience in network monitoring and network managing tools and alerts. (Solar Winds, PRTG network etc.)

Extensive knowledge in remote management solutions (VPN).

Practical experience using computer operating systems such as MS Windows, UNIX, and Linux

 Monitoring and Reporting of Network Performance, (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.

 Plan and implement Backup and Disaster recovery for Network, Server & Storage. 

Hands on experience of installing &conÞguring Windows servers and Linux servers.

 Experience conÞguring and managing enterprise Þrewalls and gateway devices is important in this role

 Knowledge in maintaining centralized wireless solution.

 Working knowledge on any ITSM tools, Incident management, Change management.

 Strong communication & technical skill to work with OEM for service request / Root cause analysis & Reporting.

 Manage the staff and equipment that handles switching, routing, and perimeter devices (Þrewalls).

 CISSP: CertiÞed Information Systems Security Professional, will be advantage.

 CISM: CertiÞed Information Security Manager, will be advantage.

 Strong leadership and management skills  Strong interpersonal and communication skills

 Experience working for a Managed Service Provider  Knowledge on Security/Management (MDM, Firewalls – Sophos, Fortigate, SIEM, CEH, CompTIA)

 A strong understanding and knowledge of computer, network, and security systems.  You will need to be well organised, efÞcient and able to work unsupervised under your own initiative.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, telecommunications, or any related Þeld.

 Strong written and spoken communication skills.  Proven experience of Network and Security Engineer.

 Good working knowledge on Multiple technology ie Cisco/HP/Dell.

 An understanding of ISO 27001/27002 standards, ITIL and COBIT frameworks

 CCNA / CCNP/ AWS CertiÞcation on networking (Desire) 

Tools Knowledge:

Argus, Sophos, Cisco and Fortinet, Wireshark, SolarWinds, Kaseya Monitoring and Management tool
