Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Manager to oversee our end-to-end operations with a deep understanding of logistics, e-commerce, inventory management, brick-and-mortar storeoperations, and the high-end product sector, particularly in the diamond and gemstone industry. This role requires someone who can streamline operational processes while ensuring a seamless customer experience and maintaining product quality. While the focus is not on sales or customer support, the candidate should have a solid grasp of marketing principles and be able to work closely with marketing and product teams to align operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics & Supply Chain Management: Oversee and optimize the entire supply chain process,

ensuring timely procurement, shipping, and delivery of products.

• Inventory Management: Manage inventory across e-commerce and physical stores, ensuring

accurate stock levels, high product quality, and efficient fulfilment processes.

• Brick-and-Mortar Store Operations: Ensure smooth operation of physical stores, including

inventory coordination, product display, and operational procedures.

• High-End Product Handling: Maintain strict quality control standards for diamonds, gemstones,

and other luxury products, ensuring proper storage, handling, and delivery.

• E-Commerce Operations: Oversee the operational aspects of online sales, including order

fulfilment, returns management, and customer experience optimization.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that operational

plans align with marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotions.

• Vendor and Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers,

logistics partners, and service providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

• Operational Efficiency: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance

operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.

• Customer Experience Optimization: Ensure that operational processes contribute to a premium

customer experience, from product quality to fulfilment speed and post-purchase service.• Reporting and Analytics: Monitor key operational metrics, provide regular reports, and use data-

driven insights to inform strategic decisions.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company

policies, particularly around high-end product handling and transportation.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management, preferably in the diamond,

gemstone, or luxury product industry.

• Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of the diamond and gemstone sector, including best

practices for high-value inventory management and handling.

• Logistics and Supply Chain: Experience in managing complex logistics, including e-commerce

fulfilment and brick-and-mortar store supply chains.

• Inventory Control: Expertise in managing inventory for both physical stores and online platforms,

with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with inventory management systems, e-commerce platforms, and

logistics software.

• Operational Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, optimize processes, and manage

operations in a fast-paced environment.

• Marketing Awareness: Basic understanding of marketing strategies and how operational

efficiency can support marketing campaigns and product launches.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;

advanced degree or certification is a plus.

• Experience working with high-value, delicate products, specifically in the luxury market.

• Knowledge of sustainability and ethical sourcing practices in the gemstone and diamond

industries.
