Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Operations Head to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for streamlining processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, managing supply chain logistics, and ensuring operational efficiency. This role is crucial in driving the growth and success of our platform in the highly competitive gemstones and jewelry industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Strategy and Execution

• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
• Identify and address operational bottlenecks to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Supply Chain and Inventory Management

• Oversee procurement, inventory control, and supply chain logistics to ensure timely product availability.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Customer Service Excellence

• Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt order fulfillment, accurate product delivery, and superior after-sales service.
• Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continually improve service levels.
• Handle escalated customer issues and ensure their timely resolution.

Team Management and Development

• Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Process Optimization and Technology Integration

• Leverage technology to automate and streamline operational processes.
• Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with IT and product teams to ensure seamless integration of operational tools and platforms.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards before reaching the customers.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes across the supply chain.
• Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Financial Oversight

• Manage operational budgets and ensure cost-efficiency.
• Conduct regular financial reviews to monitor operational expenses and optimize resource allocation.
• Collaborate with finance teams to forecast and control operational costs.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as an Operations Head, Operations Manager, or similar role, preferably in e-commerce or gemstones, diamonds, or jewelry industries, with hands-on experience in handling gemstone or diamond supply chains, quality assurance, and customer-focused operations.
