We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Business Head to lead and scale our organization to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of business growth, strategic thinking, and operational excellence, especially within digital-first industries like astrology, wellness, or other service marketplaces. This role requires a blend of entrepreneurial spirit, strategic planning, and hands-on execution to ensure the organization remains an industry leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s business strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share goals.
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and expansion areas within the astrology and wellness domains.
- Foster innovation by staying updated on industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies.
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.
- Drive digital transformation and ensure seamless user experiences across apps, websites, and other platforms.
- Implement data-driven decision-making processes to track and improve KPIs.
Revenue and P&L Management
- Own the P&L and ensure sustainable financial growth.
- Develop and execute pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and revenue generation models.
- Manage budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation effectively.
Team Building and Leadership
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent to build a high-performing team.
- Motivate and guide department heads to align their goals with the company’s vision.
- Establish a collaborative and performance-driven company culture.
Customer-Centric Focus
- Champion customer satisfaction by ensuring high-quality services and user experiences.
- Handle customer feedback and implement improvements to drive loyalty and retention.
- Expand customer base through innovative strategies and targeted marketing campaigns.
Partnership and Vendor Management
- Build and maintain relationships with astrologers, wellness experts, and other service providers.
- Negotiate favorable terms with vendors, ensuring mutual growth and benefits.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to onboard experts and influencers.
Requirements:
- Education: MBA or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Business Head, General Manager, or similar leadership role, preferably in astrology, wellness, or online marketplaces.
- Skills:
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, product management, and financial planning.
