Job Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Purchasing Executive to join our team in Ahmedabad. This full-time role requires an experienced professional to manage various procurement activities of solar products, ensuring seamless supply chain operations. The candidate will play a critical role in vendor management, market research, and cost-effective purchasing, contributing substantially to our operations.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Negotiation skills (Mandatory skill): Proven ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure the best terms and prices for products.
  • Vendor Management (Mandatory skill): Expertise in managing vendor relationships to ensure favorable terms, quality, and service.
  • Market Research (Mandatory skill): Ability to conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends and identify potential suppliers.
  • Supply Chain Management: Understanding of supply chain processes to manage the purchase and delivery of solar products smoothly.
  • Cost Analysis: Aptitude for analyzing procurement data to evaluate product costing and create efficient purchasing strategies.
  • Inventory Management: Skill in overseeing inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of solar products at all times.
  • Contract Management: Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts to ensure compliance and mutual benefits.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers effectively.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to negotiate optimal terms and secure product availability.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new suppliers and to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from purchase order creation to product delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and reduce supply shortages.
  • Oversee inventory management to balance stock levels and avoid overstock or stockouts.
  • Conduct cost analysis to assist in budgeting and financial planning for purchasing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on purchasing decisions, including cost-benefit analysis and supplier performance assessment.
