Responsibilities

As an Academic Counselor, your responsibilities may include:

1. One-on-One Advising Sessions:

• Providing personalized advising sessions with students to discuss their academic and personal goals.
• Evaluating students’ academic records and recommending appropriate courses based on their interests and requirements.

1. Academic Planning:

• Assisting students in creating academic plans and degree pathways.
• Helping students understand graduation requirements and mapping out their educational journey.

1. Career Guidance:

• Counseling students on career options related to their chosen field of study.
• Offering insights into potential career paths and helping students make informed decisions.

1. Course Selection:

• Advising students on course selection, prerequisites, and elective options.
• Ensuring that students choose courses aligned with their academic goals.

1. Personal Development:

• Supporting students in personal growth and development.
• Addressing any challenges or obstacles they may face during their academic journey.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• At least 1 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in English.
• The ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.

Compensation

• Salary: ₹35000 - ₹45,000.00 per month.
• Location: MG Road, Bangalore, Karnataka.
• Schedule: Day shift.
• Ability to commute/relocate: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
