Position: Subject Matter Expert - EV  

Experience: 10+ Years

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Work from Office)


We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Electric Vehicle (EV) domain to join our outbound sales team. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge and expertise in EV or similar domains, with a proven track record of success in sales within the manufacturing space. This senior-level position is designed for a strategic thinker who has over 10 years of experience in driving sales growth and building relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals and target the EV market. Identify new sales opportunities and trends within the EV domain.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Understand customer needs and requirements to promote company solutions effectively.
  • Market Expertise: Act as the go-to subject matter expert for the EV domain, providing insights and knowledge both internally and externally. Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed annual sales targets within assigned territories and accounts. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure sales strategy effectiveness.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving sales goals. Mentor and guide junior sales team members, sharing expertise and best practices.
  • Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition of our EV solutions. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • More than 10 years of experience in sales, with a significant portion within the EV or similar domain in the manufacturing space.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in the EV market, including technical aspects, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
  • Lead strategic sales initiatives in the EV market
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Drive business development activities in the EV sector
  • Utilize negotiation skills to secure deals in the EV market
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close with a track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
