Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at A-Z Engineering. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job location is Chakan & PCMC Pune Maharashtra and the employment type is full-time.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in quality engineering
• Strong knowledge of product quality and manufacturing processes
• Experience in driving quality improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and tools
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team
• Solid understanding of continuous improvement principles
• Mechanical and understanding of mechanical systems

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement
• Perform product inspections and audits to identify defects or non-conformities
• Monitor quality metrics and provide regular reports to management
• Participate in supplier audits and assessments
• Manage and maintain the quality management system
• Train and mentor junior quality technicians or inspectors
• Stay updated with industry standards and regulations
