Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Production Engineer. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production processes in our automotive/manufacturing industry. This position is based in Chakan, Maharashtra, India and is a full-time role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience of Production Engineer in the automotive/manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Familiarity with quality standards and regulations
• Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Optimize the production processes to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production plans
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and resolve any production issues
• Train and mentor production staff on best practices and safety procedures
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs
• Implement and maintain production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce production costs and minimize waste
