How will I be Evaluated?

Your performance will be measured on:

1. Accuracy & Speed of Product Drawings & Costing.
2. Support to develop & test new products & samples.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create product drawings in a timely manner based on customer requirements and specifications.
• Provide cost estimates within 24 hours of receipt of inquiries from the sales team.
• Develop and maintain a database of supplier pricing, materials, and components to ensure accurate cost estimates.
• Assist with certification & testing procedures for products.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components required for product development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality products.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and production teams to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
• Participate in product development meetings to provide input on design, materials, and costing.
• Continuously improve and streamline the estimation process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in costing for Copper & Copper Alloys (Preferable)
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and product development processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software, AutoCad and SolidWorks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
