Position Overview:
The Bench Sales Recruiter is responsible for marketing IT consultants (bench candidates) to various clients and staffing agencies in the U.S. market. This role requires a deep understanding of the U.S. staffing process, including working with consultants on H1B, GC, OPT, and other work authorizations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience in bench sales, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bench Marketing & Sales:
- Identify and market bench consultants to potential clients and staffing vendors.
- Generate leads and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities for consultants.
- Understand the IT skillsets of bench candidates to match them with relevant job opportunities.
- Candidate Support:
- Work closely with consultants to understand their preferences and job requirements.
- Negotiate rates and confirm employment terms with clients or vendors.
- Prepare consultants for interviews, ensuring they are well-informed about job roles.
- Client & Vendor Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with prime vendors, implementation partners, and direct clients.
- Develop and maintain a database of potential client contacts and requirements.
- Respond promptly to job requirements and follow up on submissions.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure consultants' documentation (e.g., resumes, certifications, visa status) is up-to-date and accurate.
- Track submission, interview, and placement processes to ensure transparency and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in U.S. IT Bench Sales recruiting.
- Strong understanding of visa classifications, tax terms (C2C, W2, 1099), and IT technologies.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in job portals such as Dice, Monster, LinkedIn, and internal databases.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in cold calling and lead generation.
- Familiarity with ATS systems for managing candidate pipelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets.
Work Schedule:
- Must be willing to work U.S. business hours.
