Job Overview

We are hiring a Senior Piping Engineer - Oil And Gas to join our team at Avis Enertech Pvt Limited. As a Senior Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of piping systems for oil and gas projects. This role requires 7 to 10 years of experience in oil and gas industry. The job location is Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 7 to 10 years of experience in piping engineering for oil and gas projects
• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards related to piping design
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop piping systems for oil and gas projects
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure system reliability and efficiency
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping systems into overall project design
• Review and approve piping designs, specifications, and construction plans
• Conduct site visits to oversee installation and ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters
