Job Overview

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems, equipment, and components for oil and gas projects. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and is a full-time employment opportunity.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in electrical design for oil and gas projects

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design electrical control systems, equipment, and components for oil and gas projects
• Prepare and review electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and cost estimation
• Perform electrical calculations and simulations
• Select and specify electrical materials, equipment, and vendors
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations
• Support commissioning and testing activities
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams
• Monitor and evaluate electrical system performance
