Job Overview

We are seeking a Study Abroad Consultant to join our team at Aviate. As a Study Abroad Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting students in finding the right study abroad programs and guiding them through the admissions process. This is a junior-level position, requiring 1 to 3 years of experience in study abroad counseling. The position is full-time and can be done remotely.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience as a study abroad consultant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of study abroad programs and destinations
• Familiarity with admissions counseling and application processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with students and their families
• Good understanding of visa requirements and immigration procedures
• Sales and customer service skills for promoting study abroad programs and services
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Roles and Responsibilities

• Advise students on various study abroad programs and opportunities
• Guide students through the admissions process for their desired study abroad destinations
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on visa requirements, immigration policies, and scholarship opportunities
• Assist students in preparing application documents, such as personal statements and recommendation letters
• Ensure effective communication with students and their families, addressing any concerns or queries
• Organize and conduct information sessions and workshops to educate students about study abroad options
• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the field of study abroad education
• Collaborate with universities and educational institutions worldwide to establish partnerships and exchange programs
• Maintain a database of study abroad programs, universities, and scholarships for easy reference
• Track and analyze student outcomes and success rates to improve counseling strategies
