Job Overview

We are seeking a Workshop Manager with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team at AUTOBAHN TRUCKING CORPORATION PRIVATE LIMITED. As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our workshop, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring the efficient and timely completion of all repairs and maintenance tasks. This is a full-time position based in Verna, Goa, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance procedures
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
• Experience in debt management and handling product concerns
• Knowledge of warranties and experience in submitting claims
• Ability to coordinate with sales team for vehicle deliveries and pickups
• Experience in AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and RECON (Reconditioning) is a plus
• Knowledge of labor relations and experience in addressing employee-related issues

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of our workshop, including prioritizing tasks and assigning work to technicians
• Ensure the efficient and timely completion of all repairs and maintenance tasks
• Monitor and maintain inventory of parts and supplies, and order new supplies when necessary
• Coordinate with sales team to schedule vehicle deliveries and pickups
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional customer service at all times
• Manage warranties, including submitting claims and following up on reimbursements
• Collaborate with labor relations department to address any employee-related issues
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
• Conduct regular meetings with the workshop team to provide updates and address any concerns
