Position Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned Senior Oracle OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and BIP (Business Intelligence Publisher) Cloud Reporting Technical Specialist. We need someone deeply versed in Oracle Cloud technologies, particularly skilled in crafting, refining, and maintaining OTBI and BIP reports.
Responsibilities:
1. Advanced Report Development: Architect, engineer, and deploy intricate OTBI and BIP reports within the Oracle Cloud framework, aligning closely with business requirements.
2. Data Modeling Mastery: Employ sophisticated data modeling methodologies to optimize data structures, thereby enhancing the efficiency and performance of our reporting ecosystem.
3. Customization Expertise: Tailor standard reports to fit specific business contexts, seamlessly integrating custom data elements, calculations, and formatting.
4. Integration Prowess: Seamlessly integrate OTBI and BIP reports with other Oracle Cloud applications and external systems, ensuring a cohesive data flow and preserving data integrity.
5. Performance Optimization: Fine-tune report performance through meticulous query optimization, strategic indexing, and judicious data caching strategies.
6. Security Implementation: Institute robust security protocols to safeguard data privacy and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, leveraging Oracle Cloud's security features effectively.
7. Thorough Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation for all developed reports, encompassing data mappings, design specifications, and user manuals.
8. User Training and Support: Deliver comprehensive training sessions and provide ongoing support to empower end-users in maximizing the utility of OTBI and BIP reports.
9. Rapid Troubleshooting: Rapidly diagnose and resolve technical issues pertaining to report generation, data accuracy, and system integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
10. Continuous Learning: Remain abreast of the latest developments in Oracle Cloud updates, features, and best practices relevant to OTBI and BIP reporting functionalities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Extensive 5-10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud technologies, with a sharp focus on OTBI and BIP reporting.
3. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle BI Publisher is paramount.
4. Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving prowess.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
7. Oracle certifications in OTBI and BIP reporting are highly desirable.
