Responsibilities:

1.     Project Planning and Coordination

o   Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals and stakeholder expectations.

o   Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and task assignments.

o   Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

2.     Technical Oversight

o   Collaborate with data engineering, data science, and analytics teams to design and implement technical solutions.

o   Ensure data processing and analytical solutions adhere to best practices, optimizing for performance, scalability, and accuracy.

o   Assess project risks and implement solutions to minimize potential issues related to data quality, access, or performance.

3.     Stakeholder Management and Communication

o   Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clear communication on project status, risks, and issues.

o   Prepare and present project progress reports, including key metrics, milestones, and deliverables, to both technical and non-technical audiences.

o   Facilitate regular status meetings with project teams and stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned.

4.     Data Strategy and Execution

o   Work with leadership to define the data platform migration strategy and roadmap, aligning projects with organizational priorities.

o   Oversee the execution of data related projects from inception to delivery, ensuring they are on time, within scope, and within budget.

o   Identify and implement process improvements in project workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

5.     Resource Management

o   Coordinate resources across cross-functional teams, ensuring that each project has the necessary skills and personnel for successful delivery.

o   Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members, helping them to develop skills in data analytics and project management.

6.     Quality Assurance

o   Improve quality assurance processes, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data solutions.

o   Review and approve final deliverables, ensuring they meet organizational standards and provide actionable insights.

7.     Documentation 

o   Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, requirements, and technical specifications.

Qualifications:

·        Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.

·        Experience: 7+ years of experience in managing data analytics projects.

·        Technical Skills:

o   Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Asana, or MS Project.

o   Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

o   Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts (e.g., ADF, Databrics, AWS Redshift, Snowflake).

·        Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
