Join Aubree Chocolaterie as a Chef De Partie at our Bengaluru location. This full-time mid-level position offers an engaging opportunity to work in a creative kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in the culinary arts, contributing to the preparation and innovation of our renowned desserts and savories while maintaining our standards of quality and presentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Culinary skills, particularly in to Indian, Continental, Chinese, Mediterranean, Korean preparations (Mandatory skill).
- Proven expertise in food safety regulations to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
- Team management experience to effectively lead junior chefs and kitchen staff.
- Specialization in crafting vegan and egg-less dishes that meet dietary preferences.
- Strong abilities in recipe development and execution for consistent quality.
- Efficient ingredient management to use resources wisely and minimize waste.
- Knowledge of dietary and ethical considerations to cater to diverse customer needs.
- Ability to collaborate within a team to execute tasks smoothly and efficiently.
- Well-organized kitchen management skills to maintain workspace cleanliness and order.
- Candidates residing at Bengaluru region are only preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes and savories in line with Aubree's standards.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, ensuring adherence to kitchen safety regulations.
- Develop and refine recipes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative flavors.
- Manage and train kitchen team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and excellence.
- Ensure the effective rotation and inventory of ingredients to maintain freshness without wastage.
- Collaborate with the pastry chef and culinary team to ensure smooth operation during service.
- Participate in menu creation, bringing new ideas that align with Aubree's brand values.
- Regularly monitor quality, presentation and consistency of produced dishes.
