Job Description:

·        7-12 years of overall industry experience in designing, developing, and deploying ETL solutions using industry standard ETL tools.

·        3+ years of hands-on experience in developing and productionizing solutions with Talend Data Integration.

·        Extensive experience in designing end-to-end transformations and workflows using Talend Data Integration, as per requirement specifications.

·        Experience with Talend Data Mapper OR working with XML data structures is mandatory.

·        Deep SQL knowledge and experience with scripting a MUST.

·        Good understanding of Java, and hands-on experience with using Java functions in Talend.

·        Experience in leading small teams of 2-3 developers, conducting code quality reviews and recommending best practices.

·        Ability to understand customer's requirements and to translate them into functional, data mapping/transformation requirement and mapping specifications.

·        Good knowledge of MS-Office tools.

·        Excellent communications skills in spoken and written English.

·        Personal skills: Independent worker with outside the box thinking and a can-do attitude.

·        Excellent analytical skills.

Skills / Requirements (Added advantage):

·        Industrial engineering or computer science graduate - advantage

·        Experience with Talend Data Quality component is an added advantage

·        Good knowledge of the insurance business (experience in the actuarial or insurance fields) – advantage.

·        Experience with information systems (such as ERP) at a super user level - advantage

·        Ability to understand data models and complex data structures

·        Deep SQL knowledge – Must

·        Experience or degree in programming - advantage
