Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Android Developer (Immediate Joiners) to join our dynamic team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality native Android applications. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. We offer employment options for both full-time and hybrid roles.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of professional experience in Android development
• Deep understanding of the Android SDK with experience building, integrating, testing, and supporting Android applications for mobile and tablet devices.
• Strong working knowledge of Java, Rx Java, Dagger2, Retrofit, Memory management, Web service communication.
• Working knowledge of languages like Kotlin, libraries like Jetpack and Coroutines, cloud based applications using Firebase/Amazon, and other tools like GitHub/SVN.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality native Android applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Work with external data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the application meets the required quality standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
