Job Overview

Astro Resources is seeking a Native Japanese Language Trainer for a full-time, mid-level position located in Gummidipoondi. The candidate will be responsible for providing language training with a strong focus on cultural understanding and effective communication. This role requires passionate individuals dedicated to language education and cultural exchange.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Language Training:

 Conduct interactive and engaging training sessions for learners at different proficiency levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).

Develop curriculum and training materials tailored to learners' needs, including JLPT preparation.

Assess learners' progress and provide feedback for improvement.

2. Cultural Training:

Educate learners about Japanese customs, traditions, etiquette, and business practices.

Conduct workshops or sessions on cross-cultural communication to foster a deeper understanding of Japanese culture.

3. Training Administration:

Plan and organize training schedules and maintain records of learners’ progress.

Assist in designing assessments to evaluate learners’ performance.

4. Collaboration:

Coordinate with other trainers, HR, and learning & development teams to align training programs with organizational goals.

Customize training sessions for corporate clients, if required.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (any field), preferably in Japanese language, literature, or education.
• JLPT certification (N1/N2 preferred).
• Language Skills:
• Native-level Japanese fluency.
• Basic proficiency in English or a regional Indian language.
• Teaching Qualifications:
• Teaching certifications and experience teaching Japanese as a foreign language.
• Work Experience:
• Prior teaching experience with non-native speakers.
• Knowledge of Japanese teaching methodologies tailored for Indian learners.
• Cultural Knowledge.

Preferred Qualities: Patience, adaptability, interpersonal skills, and familiarity with online teaching tools.
