Looking for Tendering Engineer

Location: Porur, Chennai

• Coordinate with Proposal Team for quotes and ensure the quote is sent to the customer on time.
• Technical Documents preparation for huge bidding or tender process
• Understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively.
• Follow up with the customers about the quotation status.
• Provides effective presentation of products and services offered by us.
• Discussion with clients for sales enquiries, quotation, negotiations and order finalization as per our company standards.
• Resolving customer complaints quickly and efficiently.
• Make sure the customer database is correctly segmented for targeted marketing activities.
• Submit daily/weekly/monthly report to the Management.
• Maintain and retrieve the documents of reports, quotes, etc.
• Coordinate with Invoicing team for preparation of invoices and make sure invoice is sent to the Customers on Time.
• Carryout any other duties and responsibilities within the overall function.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in tendering/bidding in engineering or construction industry
• Strong technical and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficient in using tendering software and Microsoft Office Suite
