Job Description: Pricing Analyst - Gurugram

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst to join our pricing team in Gurugram. The primary responsibility of this permanent role is to develop and manage pricing strategies and package negotiations for our insurance company. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive pricing packages, negotiating with healthcare providers, and ensuring competitive and profitable pricing structures. This position requires a strong analytical background, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the insurance and healthcare industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement pricing strategies for various insurance packages, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with company goals.
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer needs to inform pricing decisions.

Package Creation:

• Create comprehensive insurance packages tailored to different customer segments, considering factors such as coverage needs, demographics, and market demands.
• Regularly review and update insurance packages to ensure they remain competitive and relevant.

Negotiation with Healthcare Providers:

• Negotiate pricing and service agreements with hospitals and healthcare providers to secure favorable terms for the company.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers to facilitate ongoing negotiations and collaboration.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Conduct thorough cost and benefit analysis for different pricing strategies and packages.
• Generate detailed reports on pricing performance, including profitability, customer satisfaction, and market competitiveness.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure all pricing strategies and packages comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Stay updated with the latest regulatory changes and incorporate them into pricing and negotiation strategies.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
• Provide support and training to junior team members regarding pricing strategies and negotiation techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS), Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

Experience & Expertise:

• Proven experience in pricing strategy development and package creation within the insurance or healthcare industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of insurance policies, healthcare industry dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
