We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer for our GPS Tracking division at ARSS Infrastructure Projects Limited. This is a full-time, mid-level position located in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The Service Engineer will play a crucial role in providing technical support, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting GPS tracking devices, and resolving any technical issues related to GPS technology.

Qualifications and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of GPS technology, including the installation and maintenance of GPS tracking devices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to GPS devices efficiently and effectively.
• Proven ability to provide technical support to clients, addressing their GPS-related concerns and questions.
• Experience in installing GPS tracking devices in various types of vehicles.
• Capability to analyze reports on vehicle locations and use this data to optimize fleet management and operations.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks on GPS devices to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.
• Experience in vehicle fleet management is highly desirable to understand the complexities of managing multiple vehicles and optimizing their routes and schedules.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install GPS tracking devices in a range of vehicles, ensuring accurate and secure installations.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of GPS devices to ensure their proper functionality.
• Analyze reports on vehicle locations, speeds, and routes to provide insightful data for fleet management optimization.
• Provide technical support to clients, addressing and resolving any issues related to GPS tracking devices.
• Collaborate with the technical team to develop solutions for complex GPS-related challenges.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging GPS technologies and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards during the installation and maintenance of GPS devices.
• Document all technical issues and their resolutions to improve the efficiency of the support process.
