Job Description for Packing Incharge.
We are actively seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to oversee a specific region, requiring substantial experience in B2B sales within the same industry..
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Process Improvement:
Supervise and manage Team.
Train new staff and provide ongoing training to existing employees.
Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Identify areas for process improvement to enhance packing efficiency and productivity. Implement changes to SOP to optimize workflow and reduce errors.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that operations adhered to safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety training sessions and enforce safety protocols among Team Members. Report and investigate any accidents or safety incidents.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of department activities. Prepare and submit regular reports on performance and productivity. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Coordination:
Work closely with other departments, to ensure seamless operations. Address and resolve any inter-departmental issues that impact department efficiency.
Technical Requirements:
Follow Production Planning sheet for every day planning.
Check the availability of raw materials before starting.
Distribute the job as per the priority of the project & as per production plan to the operator.
Check the drawings / CNC program and explained the same to the Operator.
Ensure quality check before the material is handed over for next process.
Any discrepancies found in the drawing, layout, descriptions of materials are intimated to the reporting manager.
Before issuing raw materials form stores the same has to be checked & approved by Inward QA for using.
Issued the raw materials through Work Order or through issue register.
Raw materials when come to section is been checked thoroughly & if any rejection returned the same to stores for replacement.
Monitore machine tools for indivisual machine closely.
Ensure the rejection / rework in machine process is reported in the Daily Output Format.
Each machine target is set. Monitor whether sufficient work is there or not. If not the same to be conveyed to Head Production.
Each machine manpower is set. If manpower is idle the same to be shifted to other department or machines as per requirement. Optimum use of manpower is required.
Making of Special Jigs & fixture for Production improvement is done internally & is the responsibility of the floor supervisor’s
