As an Art & Framing Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by offering expert guidance on selecting art pieces and custom framing options. You will provide personalized advice, ensure the highest quality standards in framing, and work closely with clients to create the perfect design solutions for their homes, offices, and commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Consultation:
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, style preferences, and project objectives.
- Offer expert recommendations on suitable art and framing solutions to enhance the space and complement interior decor.
- Assist clients in choosing frame styles, materials, colors, and glass options based on their preferences and budget.
- Provide professional advice on art preservation and maintenance.
- Sales & Customer Service:
- Drive sales through personalized consultations and exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product offerings and the latest trends in art and framing.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide quotes, and close sales efficiently.
- Ensure all orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Art Curation & Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the latest trends in the art world and framing techniques.
- Curate and maintain an up-to-date selection of art, working with both established artists and emerging talents.
- Provide expert knowledge on the history, value, and authenticity of various art pieces.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure all framing projects meet the company’s high-quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate framing production.
- Inspect completed frames and artwork for any defects before delivery to clients.
- Inventory Management:
- Help manage inventory of art pieces, framing materials, and supplies.
- Assist in maintaining the store’s visual merchandising, ensuring products are displayed in an appealing manner.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and custom framing orders.
- Assist in invoicing and payment collection when required.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for materials, art procurement, and framing supplies.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Exceptional eye for design and a passion for art.
- Knowledge of art preservation, materials, and framing methods.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, point-of-sale systems, etc.).
Education:
- A background in Fine Arts, Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed.
- A passion for art and an understanding of high-end framing products.
Job Type: Full-time (Work from Office)
Education Required: Bachelor's in Arts (Preferred) A background in Fine Arts, Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Experience: Proven experience in art consulting, sales, or a related field, with a strong understanding of custom framing techniques. Also experience in the art industry, interior design, or a similar creative field is a plus.
