Designation: Team Lead

Roles and Responsibilities

• Understand the system design and present a programming approach
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on clear and practical documentation
• Work closely with the development manager, Project Manager and a team of developers
• Design, Code, Unit Test and support software components
• Deliver quality software in a time following standard software development processes
• Analyse problems raised in software development or production environments and provide timely solutions
• Develop, prepare and maintain system documentation, including program descriptions, operational procedures etc.
• Act as the second line of support during production problems
• Mentor junior developers in the team

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-8 years of proven experience as a JavaScript Developer
• Experience working on e-learning or Education Technology projects is highly desirable
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of JavaScript
• Experience with JavaScript libraries may be a value add (e.g. React JS, Angular JS, etc).
• Experience in front-end tools
• Sound knowledge of web markup, such as HTML5
• In-depth knowledge of the entire web & native development process (design, development and deployment)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and good analytical skills
