Responsibilities:

• Web application development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Database integration: Integrate databases (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) into web applications, ensuring proper data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
• Collaborate with the team: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, frontend developers, and project managers, to understand project requirements and contribute to the overall development process.
• Code development and testing: Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code in PHP, following best practices and coding standards. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of the applications.
• API development: Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between frontend and backend systems, ensuring proper authentication and data integrity.
• Troubleshooting and support: Investigate and resolve issues reported by users, providing timely and effective solutions. Perform bug fixes and implement enhancements as required.
• Performance optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in web applications, optimizing queries, code, and server configurations to ensure optimal performance and responsiveness.
• Security considerations: Implement security best practices, such as input validation, data sanitization, and protection against common web vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF).
• Stay updated with industry trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest PHP frameworks, libraries, tools, and best practices. Continuously improve your technical skills and share knowledge with the team.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including project specifications, API documentation, and user guides.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 6months-1 year of professional experience in PHP development, working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Strong PHP skills: Proficiency in PHP programming language with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Web development: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery). Experience with frontend technologies such as Vue.js or React.js is a plus.
• Database knowledge: Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Ability to design and optimize database schemas and write efficient SQL queries.
• Version control: Experience using Git or other version control systems for code collaboration and management.
• Problem-solving abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. Ability to troubleshoot and debug code effectively.
