Job Title: Project Coordinator/Administrator
Practice: PMO
Purpose
The Project Coordinator/Administrator (PC/A) will be responsible for assisting with internal and client software implementations. The PC/A will leverage Apps Associates best practices and methodologies and work with their assigned Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, the PC/A will be responsible for assisting with maintaining Project Management Office (PMO) collateral and facilitation of internal governance of PMO deliverables. This position reports to the Practice Director of the PMO or a Managing Principle within the PMO.
Job Duties
· Collaborate with Project Manager’s assisting with Client facing project delivery
o Assist with project financial updates (time tracking and forecasting)
o Assist with clerical tasks such as capturing meeting minutes and assigning action items
o Assist with ensuring project deliverables are tracked and delivered
o Assist with presentations and client communication
· Adhere to the Apps Associates project management methodology
· Assist the PMO Practice Director with clerical tasks such as coordinating project governance reviews, maintaining process/methodology documentation, and updating department content periodically
Travel Requirements
· No travel is required at this time
Work Requirements
· Remote work approved with on-site/customer facing work required periodically depending on project phase and/or customer requirements
· For remote work, associate must have a dedicated space to conduct/attend meetings and perform job duties
Required Qualifications:
· Associates (or higher) degree or equivalent (minimum 5 years) work experience (having a focus in Business Administration or Information Systems preferred)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong time management, organization, and collaboration skills
· Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of business productivity tools (for example: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, One Note, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications:
· Consulting experience
· Participation in a full software implementation in the Project Manager, Business Analyst, Technical or Functional role
· Understanding of the software development lifecycle including waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies.
· SmartSheet and Visio experience
