- Manage, maintain, and monitor DBMS in AWS (RDS and EC2).
- Manage, maintain, and monitor Linux DBMS in on premise data center (DB2 and MySQL).
- Conduce routine audits of DBMS systems.
- Optimize and tune DBMS systems.
- Track and report system performance using relevant monitoring tools.
- Implement automation scripting AWS (CLI, Terraform, Ansible).
- Ensure data security by safeguarding databases against unauthorized access, damage, or modifications.
- Support and maintain backup/recovery strategies using AWS Backup, S3, and AWS Backup Vaults.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Client Support, and other internal departments.
- Maintain database security policies and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of database systems supporting mission-critical applications.
- Ensure routine maintenance operations are performed on critical DBMS systems.
- Respond to support requests via Jira in a timely and effective manner.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide operational database support.
