The Sales Development Team Lead is responsible for driving the results of a SDR team through recruiting, training, organizing, coordinating, measuring, coaching, problem solving, and leading. The lead will partner with management to execute company and department strategies and upholds standards to ensure that sales goals are met or exceeded. This role requires a self-starting, proactive, results-oriented individual who is ready to begin their career as a sales leadership professional.


Responsibilities


  • Lead and coach your Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to consistently crush their quotas by delivering high-quality Initial Meetings (IMs) and Sales Accepted Leads (SALs) to the Account Executives.
  • Focus on optimizing the sales funnel by identifying and nurturing the hottest leads.
  • Partner with the recruiting team to identify, interview, and hire top-performing sales talent. Look for candidates with a hunter mentality and a drive to close deals.
  • Develop and deliver battle-ready training programs for the SDR Boot Camp, weekly sessions, and ongoing coaching.
  • Equip your SDRs with the skills and knowledge to dominate prospecting, craft compelling emails, conquer cold calls, and secure those crucial follow-up meetings.
  • Actively coach your SDRs through hands-on training, providing real-time feedback on workflow, prospecting techniques, email composition, cold calling strategies, and effective follow-up tactics.
  • Become a listening ear for your SDRs, address challenges, and celebrate wins to keep them motivated and laser-focused on exceeding sales goals.
  • Implement a system for monitoring outbound calls and provide constructive feedback to elevate SDR performance and conversion rates.


Requirements


-Effective written and oral communication skills.

-Empathy towards customers and understanding their needs.

-Learning attitude towards new technologies.

-Prior exposure to tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo etc.

-Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as end customers.

-Ability to handle rejections and stay focused and driven.

-Ability to multi-task and manage your tasks effectively.
