Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Apollo Paints Pvt. Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. This includes preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of accounting principles, exceptional attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India, and requires a mid-level experience of 4 to 6 years.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
  • Conduct regular audits to identify potential financial discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and track budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
  • Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to support decision-making processes
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management
  • Oversee the work of junior accountants and provide guidance and support as needed
