Product Lead– Denim, Chinos & Cargos

Role: This Role involves Owning and leading Product Strategy for Denim Jeans, Chinos and Cargos. The leader is expected to collaborate with Design, Planning, Sourcing, marketing and other functions to execute this end to end. Collaborate with Design and Sourcing for Product development & Bulk Execution by sharing required information to cross functional team, achieving preliminary cost margin targets and on-time calendar management through final pre-production approvals to deliver product execution true to Design’s aesthetic intent.

Responsibilities: 

• Product Development along with Design Team
• Coordinate with Sourcing Team for order placement, bulk execution and on time delivery
• Coordinate with Mills and Fabric Team for Fabric selection for the upcoming season Tradeshow
• Work with Design and tech team to review samples and assist in guiding best quality, cost viable styles.
• Responsible for Desired Multiplier / PC to MRP for the category
• Responsible for the sell thru for the category
• Partner closely with Design on seasonal line development to ensure alignment throughout the development process executing to product aesthetic and intent..
• Manage efficient, streamlined workflow processes and working tools for optimal execution accuracy, shortening lead times, lower minimums and costs. Operate and support current and future new business system management. Standardize and institute best practices where possible.
• Collaborate with fabric and design teams in researching of new product innovation and trend ideas. 

Requirements: 

• Experience – Should have minimum 10 to 12 Years’ experience in Denim Product Development & Bulk execution. Should have good understanding of Trends and competition
• Should have a thorough knowledge of Denim Fabric, Washes denim manufacturing & costing.
• Denim product development/sourcing/manufacturing work experience
• In-depth apparel industry knowledge particularly in Denim finish techniques
• High proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Efficient time management in multi-tasking priorities and meeting calendar deadlines
• Excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
