Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• Ensure the store operates efficiently and effectively in all operational areas including stock management, merchandising, and customer service.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.

Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise staff.
• Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

Customer Service:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Handle customer complaints, queries, and feedback professionally and promptly.

Sales and Profitability:

• Drive sales and profitability through effective sales floor management and marketing strategies.
• Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to maximize profits.
• Monitor and manage budget, financial performance, and expenses.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain appropriate stock levels to meet customer demands.
• Oversee stock control, inventory management, and order supplies.
• Conduct regular stock audits and manage stock discrepancies.

Visual Merchandising:

• Ensure the store’s visual appearance is maintained to the company’s standards.
• Implement and oversee merchandising plans to maximize sales.

Compliance and Security:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
• Maintain security standards to prevent theft and ensure a safe shopping environment.
