HVAC Engineer

1. Prepare, Check HVAC Engineering Documents/Deliverables as per Project Scope

2. Conversant with P&IDs, should be able to identify HVAC sub systems.

3. Conversant with HVAC Flow diagram and should be able to reconcile air flow rates with HVAC cooling capacity calculations.

4. Familiar with various HVAC systems i.e. ACCU, SWCCU, Water chillers etc.

5. Conversant with functionality /design criteria of HVAC sub systems like AHU, Air Condenser/ SW Condenser, Evaporator, Compressor and Fire Dampers.

6. Familiarity with International HVAC Standards ASHRAE, SMACNA, ABS, ISO 15138, and SOLAS

7. Should have basic knowledge of instrumentation components used in HVAC.

8. Should have a basic knowledge of piping and material metallurgy selection especially for Sea water systems.

9. Checking of Heat Load and Ventilation calculation Documents

10. Checking External Static Pressure Calculations

11. Review of drawings like SLD, D&ID, Air Flow Diagram

12. Review of HVAC MTO.
